The Peninsula Tour (full day)
The route sees us travel along the Atlantic seaboard, South Africa’s Riviera. We travel through the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay to Chapman’s Peak Drive with its magnificent views across the ocean.
After stopping for photos it’s on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the most south-westerly point of Africa. Take in the beauty of the Cape Fynbos flora and keep your eyes open for baboons, ostriches, Bontebok, Eland and more.
After lunch we visit the penguin colony at Boulders, home to more than 2,000 penguins in their tuxedoed finery.
Passing through the historic naval town of Simonstown we end off the day with a visit to the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
